  • UCMR3 Updates

    During the second year of UCMR3 testing, Cel-A has provided testing for enteric virus and norovirus in water samples collected at 100+ Public Water Systems (PWS) across the nation.


    In 2014,  Cel-A received a rating of 97% for QC and Performance Evaluation by the EPA Office of water.

    Cel-A is certified as a Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE), as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) by the California Unified Certification Program (CUCP), and as a Local Business Enterprise (LBE) in the City and County of San Francisco. Working with us can help our clients meet the WBE, DBE, or LBE requirements specified for federal, state, and local procurement programs.

  • Community Involvement

    Since 2007, Cel-A has worked closely with the Community College of San Francisco (CCSF) to develop and launch an Environmental Monitoring program. Designed to train the next generation of environmental technicians, this interdisciplinary program focuses on hands-on laboratory and field investigations. To date, Cel-A has provided hands on training to 17 CCSF interns graduating from the program.

  • LT2 Certified for 2015!

    Cel-A is pleased to announce that it has been LT2 Certified for EPA 1623/1623.1 and will participate in the second round of nationwide cryptosporidium and giardia testing for drinking water. Under the EPA’s Long Term 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment, Public Water Systems (PWS) that use treated surface water or ground water that is under the influence of surface water are required to monitor their source water for the presence of Cryptosporidium. With this new certification, Cel-A looks forward to helping our clients maintain compliance with the LT2 rule and ensure safe public drinking water systems.
