1) Collect chlorinated water samples in a pre-sterilized sample bottles containing sufficient concentration of sodium thiosulfate per 480mL (500ml bottles) to neutralize chlorine.

2) Collect wastewater suspected of high metal content(>0.1 mg/L) in pre-sterile sample bottles containing EDTA (metal chelating agent).

Contact the laboratory for obtaining sample bottles containing appropriate concentrations of the preservatives .
